The exhibition INTERSECTION organized by Art-Trope at the Espace Commines in Paris took place from June 8th to 10th 2018. In three days, more than 700 people came to discover the 10 selected Art-Trope Artists.

The exhibition INTERSECTION explores the interactions between two worlds: colors and B&W (Black and White). The opening reception took place on June 7th 2018 under the glass ceiling of the Espace Commines in Paris. This former factory storage facility was built at the end of the 19th century where the old Filles du Calvaire’s convent was and makes an impression with is 4300 square feet glass ceiling. The exhibition INTERSECTION is covers three floors and presents 10 Art-Trope Artists using different ways of expression: painting, photography, sculpture, digital Artwork, collage and graffiti. Close to 350 people attended the cocktail for the exhibition opening. All participants highlighted the quality of the curation and the diversity of the presented Artists.

700 visitors in 3 days

Lasting three days, the exhibition INTERSECTION opened its doors to the public from June 8th to 10th 2018. Considering the duration of the event, the exhibition totaled more than 700 visitors. Art amateurs and professionals came to discover the Art-Trope Artists selection to discuss with the Artists. The dispersion aspect of the curation matching the exhibition’s theme was particularly appreciated by the visitors. Indeed, the Artists’ Artworks are combined and mutually frame each other to better offer a perspective on their interaction. As a result, the INTERSECTION between colors and B&W through different ways of expression emerges through the artistic interactions.
