Geneviève Brozec

Painter

Geneviève Brozec is a French artist who spent her childhood in Lisbon, growing up in a family environment shaped by artistic sensibility. A precocious child, she obtained her high school diploma at the age of 16 and pursued higher education at the Sorbonne, where she immersed herself in the cultural richness of Paris, poetry, and its remarkable museum heritage.
She began her professional career in the pharmaceutical industry, developing expertise in public relations and communication. After twenty years of experience, she founded her own agency specializing in medical and event communication, notably supporting pharmaceutical laboratories in their product launch strategies across France.
Following a successful professional career, Geneviève Brozec chose to travel the world through extended solo immersive stays across several continents. Her enduring aspiration has been to reconnect with herself while observing nature, landscapes, communities, and the ways in which human beings relate to the world and their environment.
Although art had been part of her life for many years, her artistic practice took on a new dimension during the 2020 pandemic. As her usual pace of life came to a sudden halt, she began drawing, writing, and eventually painting. Drawing on her literary background, she first deepened her writing practice before gradually turning to painting—the medium through which she found her most authentic voice. This period of introspection proved transformative and marked the beginning of a profound visual exploration.
Through her work, Geneviève Brozec expresses her wonder for life, her embrace of diversity, and her vision of a world in which every form of life finds its place. Her practice reflects a sensitive observation of the living world and of the complex relationships that connect human beings to their environment.
After three years of intensive training dedicated to her artistic development, Geneviève Brozec began exhibiting her work. Today, her works are part of several private collections in France.
